Green Goodness Smoothie
This green smoothie is made with coconut water—which is loaded with electrolytes and has less sugar than soda and most fruit juices.
Prep time: 5 to 10 minutes
Makes 1 serving
Serving size: 16 ounces
Ingredients
1 medium banana
½ cup frozen or fresh blueberries
1 cup fresh spinach
½ cup coconut water
½ cup low or nonfat milk
1 scoop whey protein powder (optional)
Instructions
1. In a blender, place banana, blueberries, spinach, coconut water, and milk (if using, add optional protein powder).
2. Blend until smooth.
