Lunch & Learn Recap
Thank you to everyone who attended our recent Lunch & Learn event on Tuesday, June 2. Your participation helped make this event a success. We extend our appreciation to our speakers for sharing valuable insights with us.
Select Health
- Luis Rodriguez, Network Engagement Representative, delivered an overview of Select Health’s credentialing practices.
- Chuck Gunter, Network Engagement Manager, highlighted key functionality of the online Provider Access Point.
- Carsen Chadwick, from the Select Health Operations leadership team, shared an in-depth look at local resources and support available through Member Services, Pharmacy Operations, and Premium Billing. Attendees learned more about key support services, including:
- Claims assistance and reprocessing
- Direct connections to appropriate resources
- Pre-service cost estimates
- Benefit navigation support
- Health and service notifications
- Pharmacy coverage and requirements
- Assistance with rejected pharmacy claims
- Prior authorization support
- Monthly payment reconciliation
Steinberg Diagnostic Medical Imaging
We would also like to thank Tina Guerra, Director of Healthcare Services, and Denielle Chong, Director of Physician Relations, for representing Steinberg Diagnostic Medical Imaging. Their presentation highlighted Steinberg’s strong local presence, with 12 locations across Southern Nevada, and outlined comprehensive service offerings that support high-quality patient care, including:
- 1.5T Orian MRI, Canon 3T Supreme MRI, and 3T Galan MRI
- Open MRI services
- Advanced cardiac CT imaging (64-slice and 160-slice ultralow dose)
- PET/CT imaging with cutting-edge Canon technology
- Radiation planning PET/CT
- Practice-wide 3D mammography (tomosynthesis)
Silver & Fit Program Overview
Marlene Sena, Customer Engagement Manager, provided an overview of the Silver & Fit and Silver & Fit Flex programs available to our Medicare Advantage members. These programs are designed to promote healthier lifestyles by offering access to fitness resources, including:
- Gym memberships
- Digital workout programs and exercise plans
- The Well-Being Club
- Online fitness and healthy aging classes

Covered Radiology Imaging Centers
As of February 28, 2026, Desert Radiology no longer participates in the Select Health Commercial networks (Med and Value). Select Health Commercial members will continue to have access to a strong network of radiology and imaging providers across Southern Nevada, including:
- Pueblo Medical Imaging
- SimonMed Imaging
- Steinberg Imaging (new as of March 1, 2026)
Covered Labs
Quest Diagnostics covers all Nevada networks (Med, Value and Medicare Advantage). LabCorps has recently been added to cover our commercial Med network.
Reminders
- Please be sure to complete all required quarterly attestations and annual experience surveys.
- Zelis is now live for all Select Health claims payments. Make sure you are enrolled for easy claim processing and payment. Learn more.
- Select Health recently launched a new policy search tool for providers. This easy-to-use tool allows providers and clinic staff to quickly find policies containing specific keywords or phrases. Learn more.
- Use the PBT to manage all aspects of provider claims and view important information like member benefits & eligibility, claims status, and provider letters. Learn more.
