Mark Wankier
As Assistant Vice President of Provider Development, Mark's Team supports the Utah, Idaho, Nevada, and Colorado network strategies. His leadership scope includes provider credentialing, contracting, panel management, audit/compliance, communications, and network affordability.
Mark’s previous experience includes working as the Business Administrator for the Rosenberg Cooley Metcalf Orthopedic Clinic, co-Executive Director of the non-profit Utah State Orthopedic Society, and as an executive for UnitedHealthcare’s network management team.
Mark has master’s degrees in business administration and health care administration from the Arizona State School of Business. He enjoys traveling with his family, thinking about health care problems and Mediterranean food.

Tim Gill
Tim has been with Select Health since 1996, with ongoing experience in operations, product management, and provider development.
Born and raised in the Salt Lake valley, Tim obtained a bachelor’s in business and marketing and enjoys working in the health care industry. Tim’s team manages the provider network in Salt Lake, Summit, Tooele, Wasatch, and Uintah counties, with expertise in network engagement and contracting.
Tim is passionate about strengthening provider relationships to enhance the care Select Health members receive. Tim enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Amanda Averett
Since 2008, Amanda has been managing provider networks in a variety of key capacities. With a background in network development, account management, and pharmacy.
Amanda has a deep understanding of the challenges providers face as well as the opportunities that a strong provider/payer relationship can create. Additionally, Amanda’s education and training with a focus on Health Policy and Medical Coding gives her important insight on all aspects of managed care.
Amanda enjoys spending time with family and traveling the Caribbean on cruise ships!

Chris Engh
Chris has been in the Intermountain Health & Select Health integrated system for 15 years. He began his career at Utah Valley Regional Hospital and spent time at LDS Hospital and Primary Children’s Hospital in various roles before moving to Intermountain Payer Contracting, where he oversaw contracts and relationships with payers such as United, Aetna, PEHP, and Cigna.
Chris came to Select Health to lead the Provider Contracting team, and currently oversees Facility and Vendor contracting, with a team of seven Contracting Reps and Managers, as well as a Compliance team of three. Chris’ Provider Contracting team oversees facility and vendor contracting in Utah, Idaho, Colorado, and Nevada for commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare networks.
Chris holds a Bachelor’s Degree from BYU, and a Master of Health Administration (MHA) Degree from Weber State University.
