Easy 3-Ingredient Slow Cooker Salsa Chicken

Ingredients

1 6-quart slow cooker
2 lbs. boneless and skinless chicken breasts
2 cups mild salsa
1 cup shredded Mexican-blend cheese

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker and pour the salsa over the chicken.
  2. Cook the chicken for 1½ hours on high or 4 hours on low.
  3. Once done, preheat oven to 425°F.
  4. Transfer chicken from the slow cooker to a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  5. Spoon some of the salsa over the chicken and sprinkle with cheese.
  6. Place baking dish in the oven and bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown.
