Suicide Care

Suicide is a uniquely serious problem. On average, 2 people in Utah die everyday by suicide with almost 5,500 attempts every year (vipp.utah.gov/suicide-prevention/).

As healthcare professionals, there is much we can do to curb these trends and get people the help they need to overcome these difficult challenges. The first step is awareness and then knowing how to get people the help they need.

Intermountain Health offers comprehensive information on a variety of complex issues related to suicide prevention.
