In addition, please inform patients that fecal immunochemical tests (FIT) are easy to order through Intermountain Health. In many cases, these self-administered home tests are offered to Select Health members at no charge and to other patients at a very low cost.

Screening Options

Patients age 45 or older with no family history of colorectal cancer or polyps can order an at-home FIT test. For patients with higher risk, colonoscopies are recommended.
