Meet Select Health's New Medical Director

I am excited to introduce myself as Select Health's new Medical Director. In this role, I partner with health care professionals across our network to support quality improvement, population health, and better outcomes for the patients and communities we collectively serve. 

Before joining Select Health, I spent more than 15 years in public health leadership, including serving as Utah State Epidemiologist and Executive Director of the Salt Lake County Health Department. Most recently, I worked at the CDC, leading a team focused on improving the quality and use of data to support better decision-making. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about using data, collaboration, and innovation to improve health outcomes and support those providing care on the front lines. 

As I bring my public health experience to health care delivery, financing, and population health, my goal is to build meaningful partnerships with clinicians across our network. You can expect me to be accessible, responsive, and focused on helping Select Health be a strong partner in supporting high-quality, patient-centered care. I am especially interested in identifying opportunities where better data, stronger collaboration, and shared learning can improve the health of the populations we serve.
