Select Health’s Gold Card Program is designed to recognize providers who consistently meet evidence-based benchmarks by streamlining the preauthorization process for select services. Learn more

Providers may be eligible for gold carding for:

  • performing hysterectomies
  • prescribing Oriahnn

Gold card eligibility is determined at the group level, based on the provider’s primary clinic on record. To be considered, groups must:

  • Meet a minimum of 10 measured markers, each with at least 10 episodes per year, per diagnosis
  • Achieve a weighted score of 85%, at or below the 75th percentile, for each marker

2026 Gold Card Program Updates for Colorado

As of January 1, 2026, gold card qualification in Colorado includes:

  • Meeting national benchmark performance for hysterectomy procedures related to
    • Endometriosis
    • Benign fibroids
  • Maintaining at least 10 episodes per measure

Based on 2025 claims data, no provider groups in Colorado met the minimum thresholds for both episode volume and required markers, and therefore no groups qualified for gold carding in 2026.

Select Health remains committed to supporting providers in improving outcomes and reducing administrative burden. We encourage practices to review performance metrics and explore opportunities to meet future gold carding thresholds.
