Eric Cannon, General Manager of Scripius and Chief Pharmacy Officer at Select Health, was featured in a recent article by American Healthcare Leader for his innovative leadership and significant contributions at Scripius.
Under Cannon's guidance, Scripius is leading the way in developing new strategies for pharmacy management aimed at increasing efficiency, transparency, enhancing patient outcomes, and lowering costs.
In the article, Cannon attributes his leadership style to his roots in Holladay, Utah, where he has lived within three blocks of his childhood home for the past 26 years. He and his wife raised their family in this tight-knit community, which has greatly influenced his community-centered approach at Scripius.
“We are still part of this community. When one in three people in the region buy your products, you’re taking care of a million people where you live and you’re taking care of your neighbors,” Cannon explains. “As we step out with Scripius, we’re taking that same philosophy to the market. We now treat people like this across the country.”
Cannon is a strong advocate for transparency, cost reduction, and community-focused philosophies in pharmacy management.
