CMS has extended a temporary Special Enrollment Period for Medicaid Unwinding. The end date will be extended from July 31, 2024, to November 30, 2024, which will help people through the start of open enrollment. Please note that this is optional for state-based exchanges. Reordering a Select Health Medicare Flexible Benefits card.

Have a member who has lost or mistakenly thrown away their flex card? Here are three simple ways your member can get a replacement card.

You can help by guiding members to call Nations Benefits and request a replacement card over the phone. It's a quick and straightforward solution, ensuring members get the assistance they need promptly.

Benefits Pro App.

With the Benefits Pro app, members can order replacement cards directly from their mobile devices. The replace card option can be found under the Flex Card page by selecting the member's account information.

Benefits Pro Portal.

You can direct members to the Benefits Pro portal, where they can easily order replacement cards online. By accessing the 'Manage Card' section on the home page, members can initiate the process with just a few clicks, ensuring efficiency and ease.

Part D EOB Distribution Update.

We want to inform you about an upcoming situation that may affect your clients’ experience with Part D Explanation of Benefits (EOBs). Members will receive all of their Part D EOBs from the beginning of the year through May at one time. There was a delay in the delivery of all Part D EOBs because of a technical issue with Change Healthcare, which has been resolved.

We are sending a communication to members letting them know they should expect their EOBs to arrive soon.

The volume of EOBs may still prompt questions from your clients.
