2025 Select Health Medicare Star Ratings.
Every year, Medicare uses a Star Rating system to measure how well Medicare Advantage and Part D plans perform. Medicare scores how well plans perform in several categories, including quality of care and customer service. Ratings range from one to five stars, with five being the highest and one being the lowest.
For the last three plan years — 2022, 2023, and 2024 — Select Health Medicare’s HMO plan has been proud to receive a 5-star rating from Medicare. For the 2025 plan year, the Select Health Medicare HMO plan received 4 out of 5 stars. The Select Health PPO plan received 3.5 out of 5 stars. You should be reviewing the current star ratings with your clients at the time of sale.
The Strive for Five.
The Select Health Medicare team is committed to quality and performance, and together we know we can improve future star ratings. While the formula for star ratings is complex, it breaks down into achievable building blocks, and you can help!
Here are some ways you can support Select Health Medicare in the Strive for Five:
- Annual Wellness Visits – Encourage your clients to select a Primary Care Provider and see their doctor for an Annual Wellness Visit (AWV) each year.
- Health Risk Assessments – Walk your clients through taking a Health Risk Assessment within 30 days of enrolling on their Select Health Medicare plan.
- Vaccines – Become a vaccine advocate. Select Health Medicare members can get vaccines that can keep them healthy, like annual flu and Covid-19 vaccines, for $0.
- Preventive screenings – You’ve heard it before: Preventive screenings can save lives! Encourage your clients to get timely services such as colonoscopies and mammograms.
- Home safety – If you know a client could use some support with home safety, such as avoiding falls or getting safely in and out of a bathtub, we can help! Let us know so we can connect them with a Select Health care manager.
- Customer service – Let’s work together to identify and solve issues so your clients can have the best-possible experience on Select Health Medicare. Call our Agent Support team at 801-442-7320.
