On September 15, 2025, Select Health will be moving to the new Preauth & Care Plan Tool (available through Provider Access Point) for all online medical preauthorization requests. Watch this video and find helpful information below to help you get ready for the switch.

If you are already registered to use CareAffiliate, you will be able to access the new preauthorization tool through the Provider Access Point using your current username and password. NO ADDITIONAL ACCESS REQUEST IS NEEDED.
If you are not currently registered to use CareAffiliate, we encourage you to register now to avoid delays once the new Preauth & Care Plan Tool becomes available. Learn more.
CareAffiliate will be available in view-only mode until March 15, 2026. This means that you will still be able to view and monitor any requests that were previously submitted with CareAffiliate. All medical preauthorization requests created on or after September 15 should be submitted through the Preauth & Care Plan Tool.
