As a Select Health Medicare member, you may have access to Papa Pals companionship services. Their compassionate Pals create a family on-demand atmosphere. Papa® connects you with a great Papa Pal who can provide friendship and help with everyday tasks, such as:

  • Companionship, conversation, playing board games, or going for a walk.
  • Transportation to and from doctor’s visits, errands, picking up medications, grocery pickup, or shopping.
  • Home tasks including meal prep, light surface cleaning, laundry, gardening, or pet help.
  • Tech help setting up a computer or social media to help connect with friends or family.

Yes, Papa’s Care Team can speak to someone other than the you to schedule the visits as long as you give verbal permission and they are listed under your account.

Papa Pal vehicles can accommodate individuals that use walkers, canes, and foldable wheelchairs.

Papa performs a comprehensive application process that begins online and executes on the following steps:

  • Phone Interview
  • Vehicle Inspection
  • Identity Verification
  • Background Check
  • Orientation
  • Training

Only 10% of Papa Pal applicants are hired because of this stringent process.
