What is Medicaid?

Medicaid is a health program that helps people with low incomes get the care they need. It covers doctor visits, hospital stays, medicine, and more for those who qualify. Medicaid is for many groups, including families, pregnant women, seniors, people with disabilities, and those with breast and cervical cancer. If you live in Utah and meet the income and residency rules, you may be able to get Medicaid.
