They make me feel bad

Side effects can be frustrating, but don’t stop your meds on your own. Let your care team know what’s going on—they may be able to adjust your dose, switch meds, or offer tips to help.

I feel fine

If you don’t feel different, it can be tempting to stop. Some meds work behind the scenes, though—like cholesterol meds that help prevent longterm problems even if you don’t feel a change.
