Encourage clients to use their preventive benefits before year-end
As the end of the year approaches, now is a great time to remind your clients to take advantage of their preventive care benefits. Preventive services help members stay healthy, identify potential health concerns early, and make the most of the coverage included in their Select Health plan. Select Health resources encourage members to establish a relationship with a primary care provider (PCP) and schedule regular preventive visits to support better health outcomes and overall member satisfaction.
Most preventive care is covered 100%, depending on the member’s plan. These services may include annual wellness visits, routine physicals, screenings, immunizations, and other preventive care recommended by their provider.
Encourage your clients to schedule any outstanding preventive appointments before December 31 so they don’t miss out on benefits that may reset in the new year. Taking action now can help them start the next year healthier, more informed, and better connected to their care.
If you have questions, please contact your Select Health account manager.
Online access for group administrators
Select Health Link gives group administrators convenient online access to key account functions, helping them manage their health plan information quickly and efficiently throughout the year. Through Link, groups can request access for member maintenance, billing, or both by completing the online request form.
Online access allows designated administrators to make member updates, view billing information, and manage account activity without needing to call or email for assistance. Providing the right level of access can help groups save time and streamline day-to-day administration.
If your groups have questions about online access or need assistance getting starting, please contact your Select Health account manager.

Individual
Binder payment policy update and helpful Select Health Link reports
Select Health now accepts binder payments up to 30 days after a policy’s effective date. To help you monitor pending payments and manage your book of business, several reports are available in Select Health Link.
You can access your book of business at any time by navigating to the Individual drop-down menu and selecting the purple Download Book button. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, enter the current date as the effective date before downloading the Excel spreadsheet.
The following reports available under the Agent Tools drop-down menu can help you track member payment activity:
- Marketplace awaiting binder payment report: Identifies members who have not yet submitted their binder payment, displays the plan’s effective date, and indicates whether the policy has been effectuated. Information in this report is subject to change based on updates received from the Marketplace.
- Non-payment report: Provides a list of individuals or groups with unpaid premiums and includes the date of the most recent payment received.
Because payment information is updated frequently, we recommend reviewing these reports regularly to stay informed and proactively assist your clients.
If you have any questions, please contact your Select Health account manager.
