What is an ACA Plan?
Our traditional Individual and Family plans—also called Affordable Care Act (ACA) plans—offer comprehensive coverage for your medical and prescription needs. You will not be denied coverage based on prior health conditions and all plans offer coverage for essential health benefits, pre-existing conditions, and preventive services. And, if you qualify for a subsidy, you may save money on Select Health plans and benefits.

2024 Colorado Plan and Benefit Highlights

Health Savings Account Qualified (HSA-Qualified) Plans
These plans are designed to be used with a Health Savings Account (HSA). Often, these plans have lower premiums. Using an HSA means you have more control over your healthcare dollars, with tax advantages.
Silver Plans
If you’re eligible for a Cost-Share Reduction (CSR) through the Marketplace, this may be a good option for you. It offers all the benefits of a CSR (based on eligibility) at the lowest possible cost.
Off-Exchange Plans
These plans are only available for purchase directly from Select Health.
Virtual Visits
Virtual Visits with an in-network Primary Care Provider, Mental Health Provider, Intermountain Connect Care (urgent care only*), and UCHealth urgent care service providers are covered at no additional cost to you.
*Urgent care must be with Connect Care or UCHealth to be covered at $0.

Get financial help with subsidies
Save money on your plan with federal financial assistance, otherwise known as a subsidized health plan. Depending on your income and other criteria, you may qualify for an Advance Premium Tax Credit (APTC) or Cost-Share Reduction (CSR). And with the continued increase of subsidy eligibility for Americans in 2024, even if you didn’t qualify in previous years, you may qualify now!

Affordable Care Act plans are available to purchase via a Special Enrollment Period (SEP) such as Medicaid redetermination or during the normal annual Open Enrollment Period. Contact your agent, shop online, or call us at 800-816-4129.

Select Health Value
The Select Health Value Network is available for residents of Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Clear Creek, Delta*, Denver, Douglas, El Paso, Elbert, Gilpin, Jefferson, Larimer, Mesa*, Park, Pueblo, Routt, Teller, and Weld counties.
*Plans in Mesa and Delta counties are named Select Health Monument Value.

Prescription Drug Benefits
Our Individual plans include coverage for prescriptions nationwide. Remember: your prescriptions cost less when you use an in-network pharmacy. And most preventive medications are covered before deductible on all HSA-eligible plans.
