2-Step verification

2-step verification is now required for all Select Health member accounts. Members must enable it to access their accounts without interruption.

Please assist your clients in setting up this change if necessary.

What is 2-Step verification?

2-step verification adds an extra layer of security to member accounts. In addition to a password, members must enter a one-time verification code—sent using their preferred method—each time they log in. We recommend using email or text message, though other methods are available.

How to enable

  1. Log in to the Select Health member account.
  2. When prompted, follow the steps to set up 2-step verification and choose a preferred authentication method (such as email or phone number).

We want to make sure you can access the correct department at Select Health in the most efficient way possible. Below is a quick reference list of commonly used phone numbers and when to use them.

Member and Pharmacy Services

For benefits and claims questions.

  • Select Option 2 for Pharmacy
  • Weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. MST
  • Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. MST

Member Advocates

Assists members with locating in-network providers.

  • Weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. MST
  • Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. MST

Agent Information Line

Use the following menu options based on your needs:

  • Select Option 2 for sales
    • Option 1: Individual Sales
    • Option 2: Small Employer Sales
    • Option 3: Large Employer Sales
  • Select Option 3 for Agent Experience, then choose:
    • Option 1: Agent contracting, agent of record changes, agent contact information updates
    • Option 2: system access/agent support
  • Select Option 4 for commissions – general questions, payment discrepancies
  • Select Option 5 for billing – premium payments, payment discrepancies
  • Select Option 6 for enrollment
