New Select Health Website – What to Expect
We’re excited to share that our website has recently undergone a major refresh to enhance your experience and improve overall functionality.
As with any significant upgrade, there will be a brief transition period while we work to restore full functionality across all areas of the site. During this time, you may encounter occasional issues with navigation or access to certain features.
Please rest assured that our team is actively addressing these issues and working diligently to ensure everything runs smoothly as quickly as possible.

Member Onboarding
Thank you for helping Select Health members find the right plan and make the most of their benefits! Starting out in a new health plan can be overwhelming, so here are some simple tips to share with your clients:
- Create an online account: Members can set up an account before or after their plan starts. With an online account, they can download ID cards, check benefits, find in-network doctors, save on prescriptions, set communication preferences, and more. Encourage them to register or log in on our website.
- Choose a Primary Care Provider (PCP) and schedule preventive care: Building a relationship with a PCP and getting yearly check-ups helps members stay healthy, choose affordable care, and have a better health plan experience. They can use our Find a Doctor and Preventive Care resources for help.
- Download the Member Guide: Health plans can be confusing. Our Member Guides highlight key benefits and important resources. Members will get a link to their guide this month, and most guides are also available in Plan Documents on our website.
Webinar: Know Where to Go for Care
Are your clients unsure where to go for care? Join our upcoming webinar designed to equip you with the knowledge to guide them. We’ll walk through care options—from virtual visits through Connect Care to when it’s appropriate to visit the Emergency Room. You’ll also learn why having a Primary Care Doctor is essential and how to direct others to our 24/7 nurse advice line for on-demand support.

Enhanced Security for Select Health Member Accounts
Select Health is committed to protecting the privacy and security of its member data, especially within the Select Health mobile app and online member account. These tools provide easy access to sensitive plan information like claims, digital ID cards, year-to-date deductibles, and more. To make sure this information remains secure, Select Health is introducing two-step verification (also known as two-factor authentication) for all members.
What’s Changing?
- Coming Soon: New online accounts must set up two-step verification during registration.
- Coming Late 2025: Two-step verification is mandatory for all members with existing online accounts.
This added step will help safeguard personal health information by requiring members to verify their identity through a secondary method, like a code sent to their phone or email.
While the registration system is designed to guide users through security setup, we encourage you to help your clients in creating their account. Walk them through the two-step verification process if needed.
