Your Network

Members enrolled in the Select Health FEHB Standard Option or High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) have access to the Select Health Med network in Utah. You should use the appropriate local network listed on the back of your ID card when seeking care in Idaho and Nevada. Standard Option members can also access providers and facilities nationwide (outside of Utah, Idaho, and Nevada) through the UnitedHealthcare Options PPO network.

Use our Find a Doctor and Find a Facility tool (or download our app!) to search for in-network providers and facilities. Remember to choose the appropriate network based on what is shown on your ID card.

Urgent and Emergency Care

If you have an emergency or need urgent care outside of the service area (or even while you are out of the country), benefits apply to services you receive in any doctor’s office, urgent care facility, or emergency room.

Out-of-Area Dependent Coverage

Dependent children on a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP), who live outside the service area, will receive in-network benefits for covered services when they use Select Health Med providers and facilities in Utah and preferred network providers outside of Utah. Members must inform Select Health (through a dependent address change form) if they have a dependent residing outside the service area in order to receive this coverage. Otherwise, service access outside the service area is limited to only those services that meet the definition of urgent or emergency care. Subscriber, spouse, and dependent child(ren) living within the service area are not eligible for these extended out-of-area benefits.
