Clean Eating Apple Pie Oatmeal
If you’re trying to eat clean, this oatmeal, made with cinnamon, walnuts, and apples, is a good source of omega 3s and vitamin E, which help to fight inflammation and are good for heart health.

Serves: 2
Serving size: About 1 ½ cups
Ingredients
1 cup steel cut oats
2 cups water
1 medium apple, chopped
¼ cup walnuts
½ tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. honey
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until fully cooked (about 10 to 15 minutes).
- Serve hot and enjoy!
