Peach Cobbler Oatmeal

Life’s a peach with this oatmeal made with fresh peaches (though frozen would work just fine). Peaches are rich in vitamins A, C, and potassium and are a great addition to a hot bowl of oatmeal.

Prep time: 5 minutes

Serves 1

Serving size: 1 bowl (1 ½ cups)  

Ingredients

½ cup old-fashioned oats

1 cup water

1 tsp. cinnamon

½ cup fresh or frozen peaches

1 tbsp. honey  

Instructions:

1. Combine oats, cinnamon, peaches, and honey in a medium microwaveable bowl.

2. Microwave on high 2 ½ to 3 minutes.

3. Stir and enjoy hot.  

Nutrition Facts (per serving): Calories: 260; Carbohydrates: 53 g; Fat: 2.5 grams; Protein: 8 grams; Sodium: 10 mg; Fiber: 6 grams
