SelectHealth's commitment to compliance includes ensuring that our contracted business partners who are first-tier, downstream, and related entities (FDRs) under the Medicare program also observe all applicable laws, regulations, and sub-regulatory guidance. As a provider or pharmacy contracted for participation in the SelectHealth network or a dentist contracted for participation in the Dental network you are considered a “first-tier” entity under the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Guidelines.

Oversight of FDRs is a CMS requirement for all Medicare plan sponsors. SelectHealth has developed an annual attestation as part of our efforts to validate that each contracted FDR has met CMS requirements. The attestation must be completed by an individual in your organization who has signatory authority to make the representations in the attestation.
