I greatly like the questionnaire about having a healthy environment for the child. But, have resources instead of asking what you can do to help. If the person knew all possible ways to get help it would help them more. Also preschool isn't the most important place for a child to be. Plus guilting a parent into thinking their child needs preschool doesn't help. Esp. when kindergarten is over a year away.

Dr. Visick always takes time to listen. He always asks what other questions we have. He talks to my son and makes sure he's included in the conversations.

My daughter has eczema and there's another issue going on which caused her to have something spread over her body like wildfire. She's been itching/ scratching to the point of bleeding. We haven't been able to figure out what's going on. Visick looked over her skin and felt like there was a secondary issue. I liked the fact he felt like he needed help determining what exactly was going on to appropriately treat the issue. He made three suggestion (referral). We called and they couldn't see her for over month. I let the front desk know to please inform him of this. I never heard anything. [...]

Dr was quite critical of my son in regards to a slight change in weight. Rather than discuss it and move on, he repetitively made comment after comment about "passing up the Doritos", etc. Dr never asked how pt was doing with his of anxiety. My son hates to see the Dr. since his experiences with weight, cholesterol evaluation. Poor way to connect with an anxious adolescent!

would not recommend adolescent to see this Dr

We had some concerns about […]'s allergies. Dr. Visick referred with the allergy doctor and called us back with that information so we didn't need to make another appt. He also arranged for us to get an epi-pen for free because our insurance doesn't cover epi pens and they cost a lot. He always goes the extra mile to make sure we are well taken care of.
