    A+ service.

Dr Smith asked detailed questions and provided easy to follow medical answers as well as suggesting primary care providers, as I am new to the area.

Dr. Smith is a good sleep apnea doctor, he does though keep at a distance while examining which makes his bedside manner a little different. Like you're going to give him a disease.

At appointment (approx. 10 days ago) doctor said he would send request for new C-PAP machine to Intermountain Home Health. As of today I haven't heard anything so I called doctor office & the person I talked to said she showed it hadn't happened yet so she would of send message to M.A." Frustrating!!

Dr. Smith is a very good sleep doctor. However, I've been a little surprised that with all his acclaimed experience, he was unable to answer some simple questions re: concerns about CPAP experience. He also said he wanted to find out what was causing my oxygen issues and ordered an initial test w/the plan to do more if needed - But at the next visit (this one) he acted like he had no memory of this plan and stated he was a sleep doctor and didn't feel breathing was an area he was experienced in. I just thought, then why tell me he was going to pursue it in the just place. Disappointing - and left me with wondering what to do next. Fortunately my cardiologist ordered the needed tests.

Phone communication is poor everywhere. I am not able to call and talk without 5 minutes of questions about who I want to talk to.

I would LOVE to see the mask fitting be at the same time of the initial appointment. I told my doctor that my mask was 1 year old and he said to go over to the sleep Lab and ask for a fitting and they were very rude and told me I had to wait for them to call to make an appointment.

Dr. Smith treats me like a friend, yet remains professional & knowledgeable. He seems to care about me being healthy & has helped me A LOT.

This provider also attempted to pry into specifics at my PTSD. He also proceeded to delve into military related subjects that I wasn't comfortable discussing. Along with comments like "I can only imagine the kind of things you've seen."

I have sent 2 people to him.

    Seemed anxious to conclude appointment.

Dr. Smith was defensive, condescending, impatient, and rude. SUBJECTS HE COVERED: the mistakes of my previous physician, [...] the fact he'd already spent more time with me than had been allotted for the appointment. SUBJECTS HE DID NOT FULLY DISCUSS WITH ME: my principal concern.

This provider … this provider was totally outstanding. He listened to all my concerns, he immediately took action on my concerns, and I would highly, highly recommend him. I am very impressed and feel confident in his … in him. Thank you.

I never knew where I stood. Doctor kept changing his mind over and over.

The doctor felt like he knew what I needed, and if I had differing opinion, he was not happy.

    Experienced on Oct 23, 2017

Yeah, Dr. Smith's just an awesome guy and a different, different kind of a doctor than we're used to seeing around here. You know, it's good to have him there, he's not afraid of, of taking time. We just need more of him, I just wish that the other doctors weren't so intimidating to work with, and I can tell that they are. But he's not, he's great. Thanks.

Dr. Smith was very professional, warm, went right to work on my problem and helped me because it's my first diagnosis. He's very competent and has a lot of experience in his field. I enjoyed the whole visit. Thank you.

The doctor was very understanding about what I had to say. He spent a lot of time with me and I enjoyed that visit with him.
