A physician in the true sense of the word. His knowledge and experience provided an assessment which I trusted. Since teamwork is non-existent among providers, patients are often frustrated with various opinions & misdiagnosis. I found resolution with Dr. Smilanich.

After exam forgot to tell dr. we were waiting to talk on results.

Dr. Robert Smilanich is a wonderful physician/specialist. He is a kind, caring, nice gentleman who CARES about his patients. He is a great surgeon. Very intelligent. He did surgery on me last year - cleaned out my left carotid artery.

Did not read the notes the nurse had written, and therefore misdiagnosed a year-old ablation as a massive blood clot. I had to point to the notes in front of him to correct him.

The provider and the PA talked to each other more. I don't think the PA should come in the room with the provider.

When I was going in to see this doctor I was extremely nervous because it was a very serious condition that I may have possibly have and he took so much time not only with me, but going out and measuring the measurements of I had an aortic aneurysm and he was measuring the size of it because a certain size meant that I would need to have surgery and then the smaller we would just have to watch it. And he measured so precisely because it was going to contradict what the radiologist had measured. And he was just so accurate and reassuring

Oh I didn't repress it, yeah. The only problem there was once you got through with your examination or test, whatever, when they put you in the doctor's room it seemed like there was quite a spell before the doctor came in but I understand how that goes sometimes. So, that's the end of it.
