No contact with nurse or assistant one on one visit with provider.

He is the best psychiatrist that I have seen & he truly listens to me. [...] It is a great support to me & my mental health.

Dr. Nichols is a great provider and has helped me when other providers were not able to. He is considerate, knowledgeable and caring. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Nichols is an excellent physician. I felt fortunate to have him helping me.

I have a LOT of FAITH in this clinic and would never hesitate to go back should I need help again.

waited 10 minutes in line before checking in. only one person in front of me when I walked in. A lady came in the door behind me and went around the line and straight to a receptionist who had just finished with a client. receptionist should have told lady to go to bank of line, instead spent 10 minutes with her. It would have taken less time for receptionist to check in guy infront of me and myself, and THEN help the line jumper. As Los, other receptionist helped patient checking out instead of guy in front of me. Other receptionists looked to be wondering about and ignoring waiting patients. One of them finally talked to me and very rudely said that she couldn't help me because her computer was slow. good customer service is to acknowledge patients when they walk in, look at them and say if there is a need for them to wait to be checked in. As it was I was ignored for 10 minutes, rudely spoken to and 15 minutes late for my appointment. I have almost always received good help in this office but lately the have been more met employees and they are not as professional or helpful as previous employees.

There is such a stigma about seeking psychiatric help. Dr. Nichols helped me see this as a physical problem, too.

    Experienced on Sep 18, 2018

Not very knowledgeable about anything outside of his specific field, disregarded advice of another medical professional.

    Experienced on Jul 09, 2018

He spent a lot of time on his computer. Felt he was asking questions from a list. I didn't feel he fully listened, or address the concerns I had.

    Experienced on Jun 27, 2018

He was really great overall I just got the impression that he didn't feel confident in his treatment plan for me.

    Experienced on Jun 21, 2018

This provider is arrogant cold & uncaring about my problems. I will not be back!

    Experienced on May 03, 2018

Dr Nichols is very professional and very competent. He listens carefully and gives good advice. I see him for depression and anxiety and he has helped me a great deal since the first appointment last October.

    Experienced on Feb 26, 2018

Dr Nichols is the rudest and most arrogant physician I have ever been to. A provider in his field, psychiatry needs to be caring and attentive and personable. He sat behind his desk typing everything into his computer. He rarely made eye contact with me, and was not watching my facial expressions and body language while interviewing me.All I could see was the side of his face, as his computer screen was positioned where it was blocking his face. He would not let me finish with my answers to his questions and explain my responses. Having his desk in between us put an instant barrier between us. He was saying; I'm better than you are and am not open to your responses to my questions. I want to hurry up and be done with it.He treated me like I really was not important and he wanted to sit there and type on his computer [...] and be done with it. I have absolutely no confidence in this doctor. He has no compassion or interest in me as a person. I'm just another number to i'm and one who can be brushed aside. He made me feel like an idiot and like I was a speck of dust on his desk to be ignored and swept to the floor. I would not recommend this doctor to my worst enemy. I don't trust him at all.

Did not consider a diagnoses of PTSD from a Harvard educated psychiatrist seen years earlier.

    Experienced on Jan 30, 2018

Dr. Nichols is an excellent physician. He is well trained in psychiatry and very knowledgeable about the myriad of medications available and the side effects of each. He is very compassionate and always conveys a keen interest in my progress in overcoming depression and anxiety.

    Experienced on Jan 28, 2018

Clear and objective working towards lower doses of meds with negative side-effects while managing conditions.

    Experienced on Jan 27, 2018

He had his own agenda for me, whether or not I agreed with it.

    Experienced on Jan 25, 2018

This was my first appointment with this provider. My previous provider of several years retired prior to the end of 2017. It was a little uncomfortable to see someone new, and to rehash my past, but I was very satisfied with how this provider communicated with me.

    Experienced on Dec 14, 2017

He listened sincerely to the concerns and what my goals were and gave me advice and issued meds accordingly to what my goals were, which is unique in this field. I've seen about 52 different psychiatrists and most of them think they are going to be the ones to fix you by overmedicating you and instead he did the opposite, he listened and was very careful with what he prescribed.

    Experienced on Dec 04, 2017

He was very kind and caring. He sincerely felt like he cared about me and wanted to help me.
