    It was a good experience!>

I scheduled this appointment to establish care through my new insurance. When I got there, I explained that I needed to establish care and was also wanting a physical/check up since I hadn't been to the doctors in a while. I also mentioned I had a lot of pain in my kidneys and was concerned it might have something to do with my kidney failure a few years earlier. Dr.Hunt didn't do any kind of exam I was familiar with, no kind of physical to check my health, and on top of that he didn't even acknowledge what was said about my kidneys. He then asked if I wanted to get my blood drawn to do labs, but the whole reason for going to the doctors is for them to tell ME what could possibly be wrong and find a solution themselves. The whole appointment took less than 5 minutes which was frustrating [...] to learn nothing more than I knew upon arrival.

I won't visit Dr. Hunt again in the future. He didn't seem concerned about my health issue(s) and clearly tried to abbreviate the appointment as much as possible. No real advice was given in my appt. [...]

I didn't feel that Dr. Hunt provided me with very much advice about my issue - I was asking questions as I was walking out the door [...] somewhat rushed. I don't feel he gave me all the info I needed.

    Everyone was nice & friendly!

The appointment was an introduction for a new physician (the physician of over 20 years moved up the ranks). The process of establishing a new physician is very confusing, beginning with this introductory meeting, the process was not under understood.

Dr. Hunt is very kind. And asks about me and my family. He cares. Love the ladies at the front they know me and use my name. Ask about my dad. I'm happy they care.

In the 20+ years that I've been with Dr. John R Hunt and his staff they have always been very helpful in any of my medical needs. Even down to re-scheduling around my needs.

I have never had an annual physical when I had all my clothes on. Dr. Hunt responded to my questions but was not proactive about preventative are. I didn't think he remembered my medical history. I needed a primary care doctor who is more demonstrably knowledge of my medical history and proactive in preventative care. I am changing PCP's.

    They know me.

I found Dr. Hunt to be not just dismissive, but rude about my concerns. He was not willing to discuss my mental health concern at all, and was in fact a little insulting about the idea that such a condition is worthwhile of treatment in adults

Dr. Hunt is really awkward. He asked why I was there that day, I was told I had to come in and be seen before my prescriptions could be filled. He had no idea what my prescription was. He just sort of walked toward the door at the end, I had to actually ask him if we were finished. I would so love to switch providers [...] I dread coming to see him, I know I will be disappointed in his service and abilities.

I could communicate with him quickly. He was efficient.
