Help your teen stay healthy with yearly checkups. Your teen's doctor can offer good advice about teen health, including the following topics:
- Substance abuse (tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs)
- Injury prevention, including sports safety, seat belts, helmets, and firearm safety
- Proper nutrition
- Physical activity
- Your teen's physical, social, and emotional development
- Screening tests, such as hearing and vision exams
