The Utah Comprehensive Health Insurance Pool is a state-run program for people with high health risks and is administered by SelectHealth.
The HCTC is a federal program administered by the IRS that can pay up to 65% of health care premiums for eligilble individuals.
The CHIP is a state health insurance plan for children. Depending on income and family size, working Utah families who do not have other health insurance may qualify for CHIP.
Families with children who do not qualify for CHIP or other government coverage may apply for a SelectHealth’s Kids Plan. Some members on these plans may qualify for premium assistance, if the family meets income criteria.
