The St. Luke's and SelectHealth Alliance

Beginning this fall, SelectHealth will offer health insurance products in Idaho as part of a new alliance with St. Luke's Health System. Together, St. Luke's and SelectHealth will work to achieve better health, better care, and stable premiums.


Who is SelectHealth?

SelectHealth is a Salt Lake City-based nonprofit health insurance company serving more than 500,000 members in Utah and southern Idaho. Why is SelectHealth affiliating with St. Luke's?

SelectHealth and St. Luke's share a similar nonprofit mission, vision, and community pledge. This new relationship is a step toward aligning incentives for participating healthcare providers and their patients and SelectHealth and its members to achieve important long-term improvements-- better health, better care, and stable premiums.

When will SelectHealth begin offering health plans?

SelectHealth will offer plans for Medicare Advantage, large employers, and federal employees beginning January 2013.

What is the service area for the health plans?

SelectHealth will serve all of Idaho through the BrightPath network. Employees living outside Idaho will have benefits through the MultiPlan or PHCS networks.
